Life is full of twists and turns—some joyful, some unexpected, and some that change everything.
I started this practice, in part, because without warning, I became the loved one left behind. My husband had no idea that when he shut off his alarm that crisp fall morning, it would be his last. The next morning, instead of lying beside me, he was lying in the morgue.
No one ever plans for that and no one ever thinks it will happen to them. But if it does, trust me, you don’t want to leave your spouse or family hanging. It doesn’t matter if you don’t have a lot of assets (or whatever reason is holding you back.) If you love your husband, wife, or life partner, my advice is simple: Get. A. Plan. That’s my not-so-shameless plug because to me you’re not merely a “client”. This work is personal for me – every person with a plan is one less family vulnerable to the twists and turns of life. Loss is crushing. Don’t make it worse on those you love because you didn’t have a plan.
The twists and turns can also lead us to amazing mountaintops. The firm’s logo is a pathway on a mountain – a journey we are all climbing. My job is to help you navigate it. Some of the most fulfilling moments in my career were to witness the joy of a child who finally found her forever home, or a mother whose dream of motherhood has finally come true.
My goal is to bring you and those you love greater stability, hope, and peace.
